Security patrols for Crown St Mall

Security guards will patrol Crown St Mall when it is at its most dangerous, the NSW Government has announced.
Four guards will be deployed on Friday and Saturday nights between 10pm until 4am to discourage violence and antisocial behaviour.
The new scheme will begin tonight and run until the end of January, when its impact will be reviewed.
Communities NSW requested the security guards when the Wollongong Precinct Liquor Accord was drafted last year. Full Article
