The Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts

Since 2006, SNP Security has been delivering 24/7 security services for Department of Environment and Heritage with a total of 10 guards working on the contract.

The services delivered by SNP Security Officers include concierge, alarm monitoring and response, and patrols.

The Department recognized SNP Security Officers’ service excellence, by presenting an honorary Australia Day Achievement Award 2008 to an SNP Security Officer, Ross Bingham. The Australia Day Achievement Award was “in recognition of Ross’ exemplary service when welcoming visitors and delegations into the department", and a culmination of the many positive reports they have received about his work from both staff and visitors. This was the first time the Award has been presented to an external contractor.
